Lansing Community College Portfolio Showcase
One of the requirements to graduate from the Lansing Community College Graphic Communication program is to participate in a portfolio showcase. I was proud to participate in the showcase in December 2015. Throughout the fall semester my classmates and I got the chance to design our portfolios, websites and branding to prepare us for job interviews and freelancing opportunities after graduation. The showcase also provided an opportunity for us to show off our work to local businesses as well as our friends and family.
My table design was inspired by my business Digital Cinderella. I used a satin turquoise linen, gold sequin linen and lots of gold accents to make my table pop. In addition, to give my table some more visual interest I created a mini dessert table that featured some of my favorite treats. This included popcorn from Cravings in downtown Lansing, handmade Cinderella themed sugar cookies from Sugar Happy Cookies, strawberry banana and blueberry gummy bears, hershey’s kisses and mini cheesecake bites.
